Friendly Express, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Associate to support store operations and deliver world-class customer service. You will assist with food preparation, cash handling, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing transactions, ensuring compliance with laws and policies, supporting marketing efforts, and collaborating with the management team to deliver an exceptional shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for this position.
• Ability to Multi-task, perform repeated bending, reaching, prolonged standing, and be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic language and mathematical skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Willingness to work weekends, nights, and holidays as scheduled.
• Must be able to reliably report to work on time, as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Smile and greet customers in a friendly manner as they enter the store. Provide a fast, friendly and enjoyable shopping experience.
• Operate a cash register adhering to all Company policies and standards and complete customer transactions.
• Adhere to federal and state laws, and company policy regarding sale of restricted products.
• Ensure the proper execution of foodservice programs and keep fresh, quality food and beverages available.
• Follow uniform, appearance, and dress code policies.
• Adhere to safety and security policies and procedures.
• Ensure the proper execution of store-level marketing programs.
• Suggestively sell promotions and loyalty programs.
• Maintain a clean customer-ready store inside and outside.
• Complete store housekeeping functions and maintain restrooms and equipment.
• Replenish products, rotate stock, remove damaged merchandise from shelves.
• Keep store neat and attractive.
• Communicate with Management regarding customer requests or complaints and vendor concerns; report theft.
• Check in external and internal vendors according to standards.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Assume other duties to accommodate store needs.
• Represent the Friendly Express brand by exemplifying core values.
