Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a part-time Fleet Driver for its Oceanside facility. Train to shuttle trailers, operate a 53' tractor/trailer, and maintain equipment and logs. Positions run Saturdays and Sundays with potential additional shifts to support operations.

Requirements include a valid Class A CDL, 9+ months recent CDL experience, and English communication skills. The role involves manual transmission and occasional heavy lifting in a food‑grade warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with DOT regulations, CHP compliance, and safe driving practices.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures.
• Ability to read and speak English to communicate with team and customers.
• Able to follow precise directions and adapt to changes quickly.

Responsibilities

• Abide by schedule, establish routes, and arrive on time for pickups and deliveries.
• Execute delivery and pickup of goods based on dispatch details.
• Comply with CHP/DOT rules and perform DVIRs and logs.
• Maintain clean cabs, windows, mirrors, and monitor vehicle readiness.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding arrivals, delays, or incidents.
• Shuttle equipment between facilities and within 100‑mile radius as needed.
• Lift up to 40 lbs and operate 53' trailers with manual transmission.
