Job summary

JASPER is seeking a 3rd shift part-time Security Guard to monitor the facility, cameras, and access points. The role includes reporting incidents, responding to emergencies, and ensuring secure operations during Friday and Saturday nights (11:00pm–7:00am).

Training may be provided and some shifts may cover other hours. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50lbs, stand for long periods, and use basic computer skills to log activities and access records.

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (8–10 hours).

Responsibilities

• Patrol the premises to prevent intrusion and ensure security of doors and windows.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances or incidents.
• Monitor entrance and exit of employees, visitors, and vendors to prevent shrinkage.
• Complete daily activity reports and incident reports.
• Notify authorities in emergency situations and manage security procedures.
• Operate and monitor surveillance cameras and access control.
• Manage and secure keys, sign out keys and lock/unlock doors as needed.
