Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the maternity floor on the night shift. The RN will provide direct patient care, document patient status, and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality family-centered care.

Part-time nights (24 hours/week) with every other weekend and rotating holidays. Requirements include ASN or BSN, Delaware RN license, and BLS; NRP within 6 months. Comprehensive benefits and free parking offered.

Qualifications

• ASN required
• Active RN License in Delaware
• BLS Required
• NRP certification within 6 months of employment
• Maternity experience preferred; open to other nursing backgrounds

Responsibilities

• Adheres to nursing standards, assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care.
• Performs comprehensive newborn/neonate assessments.
• Understands normal newborn transitional care including thermoregulation, glucose monitoring, and respiratory status.
• Plans and delivers care to newborns with complications.
• Documents patient conditions, treatments, and responses accurately.
• Communicates with parents about care plans and outcomes.
