The McLean Hospital Corporation is seeking a part-time Nurse Assistant to provide direct care to patients with psychiatric disorders. The role includes ensuring patient safety and maintaining a therapeutic milieu during overnight shifts (11pm-7:30am) Friday to Monday.

You will participate in care coordination, patient advocacy, and family counseling sessions as needed, reporting on patient status and maintaining accurate documentation in the EHR system.

Formación

• Must be able to work collaboratively and independently.
• Proficient with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to effectively work with patients, health-care team, and families.
• CP I training must be completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with care and treatment of psychiatric, drug and alcohol patients.
• Advocate for patients who may be vulnerable or need support.
• Provide Parent/Family counseling and related interventions.
• Follow guidelines for patients with special status (suicide, abuse, AWOL).
• Provide accurate shift-to-shift reports and stay on unit during handoff.
• Think quickly and act in emergencies while maintaining boundaries.
• Complete and file required documentation promptly.
