Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Pulmonary Unit on night shifts at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. This part-time role offers 24 hours per week, with 7:00pm to 7:30am shifts and every other weekend.

You will assess patients, coordinate care plans, and collaborate with families and healthcare teams to ensure safe, timely interventions. The ideal candidate will have an Associate's degree or BSN, Illinois RN licensure, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individualizes patient and family teaching based on a thorough assessment to meet their learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice via quality initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
