Job Description

1. Purpose and Summary: Under the direction of the location manager, responsible for elevator operations including grain handling, safety, maintenance, and running the grain drying system.
2. Essential Job Functions: Responsible for grain handling (incoming, stored, outgoing), maintaining grain quality, blending, and providing grain drying services. Ensures housekeeping related to grain handling, complies with OSHA, state, and federal safety regulations, maintains equipment, rolling stock, and facilities, and provides professional customer service.
3. Other Job Functions: Maintains company equipment per standards, adheres to the uniform policy, maintains a professional appearance, and performs related duties as assigned.
4. Requirements: Typically requires a high school diploma or related experience. Demonstrates ability to work independently and in teams, understands grain handling, has mechanical diagnosis and repair skills, and preferably basic computer skills. Must hold a valid driver’s license, be able to travel, work extended hours, and on-call. Physical requirements include working in various weather conditions, noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, electrical hazards, working at heights, and lifting 51-70 lbs.
