Job summary

Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster, WI is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a part-time nights role (.6 FTE). The CNA provides basic nursing care and clerical support under RN supervision, assisting with activities of daily living and admissions/discharges, with rotation including every third weekend and holiday nights.

Shifts are 5:45 p.m. to 6:15 a.m., and staff may be asked to work OB and/or ER as needed, maintaining a safe, clean environment and effective communication with

Qualifications

• Active CNA certificate status or eligible per Wisconsin Registry guidelines.
• CPR certification required (or completed within 60 days of hire).
• Professional manner; strong organizational skills; flexibility; knowledge of medical terminology; positive attitude.
• Previous health care related experience preferred.
• Clerical and computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide activities of daily living and basic nursing care under RN supervision.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and assist with admissions, discharges, procedures, and transfers.
• Assist with unit communications, call-light, and telemetry reporting to RN.
• Collaborate with nurses to deliver delegated aspects of nursing care.
