A prominent university in University Park is seeking candidates for a paid fellowship in the Next-Gen Innovators Program focused on technology commercialization. The program is designed for individuals with a technical background who are interested in hands-on experience across various placements in technology transfer, venture capital, and startup companies. Ideal candidates should have strong communication and organizational skills. Compensation is set at $15/hour for a 20-hour commitment per week.

The Office of Technology Transfer (OTT) is inviting candidates with an interest in technology commercialization to apply for an opportunity to join a one-year paid fellowship program called The Next-Gen Innovators Program (“The Next-Gen Innovators”). The OTT is the office that is charged with protecting and licensing innovations developed at Penn State. The Next-Gen Innovators Program will provide a comprehensive hands-on approach to developing the next generation of leaders in technology commercialization.
The Next-Gen Innovators Program will span one year, providing trainees with long-term exposure to technology commercialization processes. Participants will rotate through at least three key placements:

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
