Job summary

Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center and Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA is seeking a hospitalist nurse practitioner to support the newborn nursery part-time (0.5 FTE). You will join a dedicated team of ARNPs and physicians delivering daytime newborn care.

Responsibilities include caring for newborns 35 weeks and above, coordinating transfers to NICU when needed, and consulting with pediatric subspecialists. CME benefits may be available; on-site colleagues support work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Care for newborn infants 35 weeks and above
• Work as part of a larger team including ARNPs and MD/DO providers
• Daytime care responsibilities (call excluded)
• Coordinate appropriate transfer of infants requiring higher level of care in the NICU
• Consult with pediatric subspecialists when applicable
• Collaborate with outpatient providers who will care for these babies after discharge
• Compensation is between $64,000 and $82,000 per year
