Job summary

The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA invites applications for a part-time Student Researcher to join the Center for Neurobehavioral Genetics. You will work with data scientists to process imaging data, validate reconstructed datasets, and maintain data integrity within established protocols,

Responsibilities

• Assist data scientists with processing imaging datasets using established image processing and neuron reconstruction pipelines
• Utilize specialized software and computational tools to generate reconstructed datasets for research analyses
• Review, correct, and validate reconstructed datasets to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality
• Organize, track, and manage imaging datasets to support efficient team workflows and data distribution
• Follow established protocols and standard operating procedures to ensure research data integrity and reproducibility
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, students, and research team members on assigned projects and research activities
