Job description and responsibilities include:

1. Receiving, unloading, logging, and storing carcasses and specimens appropriately.
2. Setting up and sanitizing necropsy tables, equipment, and materials.
3. Assisting Pathologist with necropsy procedures, including preparing and positioning carcasses and samples.
4. Dismembering carcasses and preparing them for storage, incineration, or cremation.
5. Properly storing carcasses and biohazard waste.
6. Monitoring refrigerator/freezer temperatures and performing safety checks.
7. Operating necropsy equipment and performing maintenance.
8. Assisting with inventory management and conducting physical counts.
9. Following Good Laboratory Practices, SOPs, and Quality System requirements.
10. Maintaining sanitary conditions in the working areas.
11. Removing snow and ice from loading docks and around the building, spreading anti-skid materials.
