Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Utah Nail Technician Instructor’s License required.
• Two years of relevant industry experience preferred.
• Proficient in computer applications and filing/documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain excellent customer relationships.
• Must pass criminal background check and have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to manage and evaluate student learning in didactic and lab settings.

Responsibilities

• Encourage growth through industry connectivity.
• Prepare relevant curriculum for competency-based instruction.
• Develop and maintain program outlines, goals, and objectives.
• Align class curriculum with industry standards.
• Administer Utah State Board of Education skills tests when teaching secondary students.
• Assist in accreditation processes.
• Advise, evaluate, and record student progress.
• Maintain safety and security in the training area.
• Maintain inventory and daily operations of the UBTech Salon.
