Job summary

Mondelez International is seeking a Field Sales Associate to optimize instore visibility and drive sales with our customers. You will visit stores, ensure Mondelez IMPULSE products are properly stocked at checkouts, and follow checkout plans with store staff and Mondelēz reps.

The role requires driving to multiple locations within the Pullman, WA area and nearby towns. You will work Monday, Wednesday, Friday starting at 6:00 am, with mileage reimbursed and various benefits.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
• Proof of auto insurance is required.
• Self-motivated to achieve set goals and work independently.
• Able to download and use work apps on a personal device.
• Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out in-store visits according to Mondelez visit method.
• Fill in impulse product placements (gum, candy) at checkouts and stores.
• Follow checkout implementation plans negotiated with Mondelēz sales reps.
• Occasionally assist with seasonal shelf updates and visibility actions.
• Follow daily route plans to maximize efficiency in-store service.
• Support seasonal campaigns and improve product visibility with sales reps.

How You Will Contribute

• Carry out instore visits according to Mondelez visit method
• Be in charge of quantitative and qualitative filling of Mondelez IMPULSE products (Gum, candy) in checkouts and in store locations dedicated to impulse products (linear shops, contact points, additives).
• Follow check out implementation plan guidelines negotiated by Mondelēz sales representative to fill in check outs and ensure competition is respecting it. You will inform Mondelēz sales representative and store employee in case of issue.
• Occasionally be asked to fill in seasonal shelf and put in place seasonal extra visibility actions in store.
• You will follow the daily route planning prepared by the operations team to ensure the most efficient instore service
• Optimize seasonal sales, supporting occasionally implementation of seasonal campaign in store visibility
• Represent Mondelēz International in front of in store employee and work closely with sales representative to optimize visibility of Mondelez products.

Who is a good fit?

• Be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Someone with a positive and professional attitude who is self-motivated and can work independently.
• Ability to drive your personal vehicle to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed).
• Ability to download and use work related applications on your personal device.
• Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment and to meet the defined physical activities like repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs. Occasionally, pushing and pulling over 50 lbs. This includes physically moving our products from the stock rooms to store floor and stocking the store’s shelves.
• Previous retail / grocery experience is a plus.
• Live within 25 miles range from the primary location: Pullman, WA
• Secondary locations: Lewiston, Clarkston
• Schedule availability required: Monday, Wednesday, Friday - Start Time: 6:00 am

Salary and Benefits:

Hourly compensation rate ranges from $14.00-$16.00 based on relevant experience / 401 Savings Plan, Mileage reimbursement (according to company policy), Strong career advancement opportunities within the company, Health and Well-Being Program, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Internet reimbursement of $10.00, when a company device is not provided, Safety equipment such as kneeling pads, safety knives, and PPE.
