Job summary

Ensemble Schools in Schaumburg, IL, is seeking a fun, professional part-time staff member to help administer day-to-day operations for the Schaumburg Music Academy. You will greet students, coordinate lesson schedules, and support teachers with scheduling and instrument rental administration.

The role requires daytime availability (Mon 10:30–2:30, Tue–Thu 11:00–3:00) with occasional weekend availability. Compensation ranges from $15 to $18 per hour, plus a 401(k) with company matching after 30

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will be organized, motivated self-starter with a strong customer service mindset.
• An interest in music and music education is preferred.
• Daytime availability is required, with occasional weekend availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greeting students arriving for lessons and ensuring that teachers stay on schedule.
• Responding to scheduling-related phone calls and emails from students and families.
• Interacting with teachers to help them manage their students' schedules.
• Administration related to the instrument rental program.
• General administrative tasks as needed.
