Job summary

Ensemble Performing Arts seeks experienced instructors to teach guitar, voice, piano, and drums part-time at Music House School of Music across Lenexa, Prairie Village and Overland Park, KS. In-person classes run primarily M–Th 3–9pm and Fri 3–7pm, with substitute opportunities when main teachers are unavailable.

Candidates should have a music degree or equivalent, at least 1 year of teaching, strong communication, reliability, and comfort with technology; background checks required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in music education or performance preferred.
• At least 1 year of teaching experience; group teaching a plus.
• Performance experience in solo and ensemble settings.
• Excellent communication (writing, speaking, listening).
• Organized, detail-oriented; thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with technology (computers, mobile devices, browsers, online apps).
• Pass background check and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Teach guitar, voice, piano, and drums in-person at Music House School of Music.
• Maintain punctuality and coordinate schedules with staff and students.
