Job summary

Broward College is seeking a passionate part-time Music educator to facilitate diverse learning needs. The candidate must have a Master’s degree in Music and a commitment to student success.

Responsibilities include supporting students through technology, maintaining office hours, and ensuring instructional effectiveness. Benefits include medical insurance and tuition assistance. The salary range is $2,181 to $2,386.02 per month.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Music or a related discipline (or a Master's with 18 graduate credit hours in Music).
• College teaching experience; Doctorate in Music preferred.
• High level of computer literacy.
• Commitment to fostering student success, achievement, and persistence.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning for diverse students in the discipline of Music.
• Utilize technology to support 21st-century literacies in teaching and counseling.
• Prepare students for productive lives through effective use of instructional resources.
• Maintain office hours and, when required, evening and/or weekend hours.
