Job summary

Livingstone College is seeking an Adjunct Accompanist and Music Instructor to join the Liberal Arts & Humanities division in Salisbury, NC. The role centers on providing high-quality collaborative piano accompaniment for undergraduate lessons, rehearsals, and recitals.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in music (performance or related field) with strong sight-reading and interpersonal skills; prior experience accompanying various levels and instruments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accompany vocal and instrumental majors for lessons, rehearsals and recitals.
• Assist College Choir rehearsals and performances as needed.
• Contribute to growth of the musical arts within the department and Salisbury community.
• Other duties as assigned.
