Responsibilities

• Assist a certified teacher in providing instruction to individuals or small groups of limited or non-English speaking students.
• Prepare mandated reports and documentation as required.
• Perform clerical duties in support of classroom activities (preparing, typing, duplicating, filing instructional materials).
• Grade student tests and assignments; record grades; maintain student records.
• Read assignments to students; assist with assignments, homework and projects; explain classroom rules and procedures.
