Job summary

AeroVironment, Inc. is seeking detail-oriented Foreign Language Annotators to support data annotation across text, video, image and speech formats.

You will work with data teams to prepare, curate and maintain high-quality multilingual datasets in line with strict guidelines. Your role requires fluency in English and one or more of Arabic, Urdu, Korean, Kurdish, or Spanish, with the ability to perform transcription, translation and linguistic analysis within a defense-technical context.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and spoken English alongside proficiency in one or more target languages.
• Experience with data annotation, transcription, translation or linguistic analysis preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Annotate and analyze video, image, speech, and text data in English and target foreign languages.
• Identify, prepare, and curate relevant datasets for machine learning and technology evaluation.
• Apply annotation guidelines to ensure data integrity and high production standards.
• Conduct transcription, translation, and linguistic analysis across media types.
• Maintain quality control across annotated datasets to meet production benchmarks.
• Collaborate with technical teams and researchers to refine data annotation processes.
