Job summary

Allegro Foundation, a Charlotte, NC-based nonprofit, seeks a kind and energetic Part-Time Movement Instructor trained in the Allegro Technique to lead Movement Education classes for children with disabilities.

Starting as an Assistant, you will earn $15.00 per half hour per 30-minute class, with Lead Instructor pay at $17.00 per half hour. Summer offers 5–10 classes weekly; the school year 10–15 weekly, and travel to multiple nearby locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Live in Charlotte or surrounding area.
• Education: Professional Experience or Associate/Bachelor's degree.
• Experience with children and pleasant speaking voice.

Responsibilities

• Teach movement to children with disabilities in Movement Education classes.
• Follow Allegro curriculum and lesson plans.
• Attend Allegro curriculum meetings 3x a year.
• Drive to multiple locations in Charlotte, Huntersville, Rock Hill, and Fort Mill.
