Job summary

Caring Transitions is seeking an Operations Team Member / Move Team Member for a part-time role. The position involves helping with cleaning, sorting, boxing, and conducting estate sales, with emphasis on moving furniture and providing excellent service to seniors.

You will work in a team-centered environment, coordinate with managers and teammates, and must be able to lift and move boxes while maintaining a high level of customer care. Local candidates only in the Reno/Sparks/Carson City area.

Qualifications

• Desire to serve seniors.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a background check.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Professional attitude and demeanor.
• Experience in retail, general labor or warehouse helpful.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to interact productively with co-workers and function well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lifting furniture and boxes.
• Sorting through items and putting them into bags/boxes.
• Greeting clients, taking orders, processing payments, and responding appropriately to customer issues.
• Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts.
• Communicating positively with clients, peers and managers.
• Providing exceptional customer service while safely sorting, packing/unpacking and staging/resettling client household items.
• Other duties may be assigned as needed.
