Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred.
• Valid NMLS license as required by state and federal regulations.
• Experience in mortgage lending or financial services preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Originate mortgage loans per guidelines and regulations.
• Interview borrowers to collect financial information.
• Evaluate documents to determine loan programs.
• Educate clients on loan products, terms, and procedures.
• Submit loan applications to processing for approval.
• Maintain records in the loan origination system.
• Follow up with clients, processors, and underwriters.
• Collaborate with internal departments to close loans.
• Meet productivity and quality goals.
• Keep up-to-date with lending policies and industry trends.
