Responsibilities include interviewing borrowers, evaluating documents, educating clients on loan products, and submitting applications for approval. Strong communication and NMLS license are required.

Qualifications

• Originates mortgage loans in accordance with company guidelines and lending regulations.
• Interviews borrowers to gather required financial information and assess eligibility.
• Evaluates applicant financial documents to determine appropriate loan programs.
• Educates clients on available loan products, terms, and procedures.
• Submits complete loan applications to the processing team for approval and underwriting.
• Maintains accurate records in the loan origination system.
• Ensures timely follow-up with clients, processors, and underwriters.
• Collaborates with internal departments to ensure smooth loan closings.
• Meets established productivity and quality goals.
• Keeps knowledge of current lending policies, compliance standards, and industry trends.
