Job summary

The Greater Beverly YMCA is seeking a Morning Gymnastics Instructor to lead age-appropriate classes for youth in a safe, fun, and progressive program. This part-time role emphasizes growth from preschool to school-age activities, with mornings available 8:30am–12:30pm.

You'll demonstrate skills, supervise equipment, and build strong relationships with families while delivering engaging instruction and contributing to a positive team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Available mornings: Mon–Thu 8:30am–12:30pm, and/or Sat 8am–2pm.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Teaching experience and ability to work with kids.

Responsibilities

• Leading engaging, age-appropriate classes that encourage skill development and a love for movement.
• Providing clear demonstrations and instruction for a range of gymnastics skills.
• Ensuring a safe environment by supervising activities and maintaining proper equipment setup and takedown.
• Building strong, positive relationships with participants and families to support their personal growth and development.
• Assisting with open gym sessions, supporting curriculum delivery, and contributing to an inclusive, team‑oriented atmosphere.
