Job summary

Lunds & Byerlys Apple Valley is seeking a vibrant and outgoing part-time Morning Food Service Clerk to create a sensational shopping experience for customers. The role offers shifts from 7:00am-3:00pm with a competitive wage of $16.00-$18.00 per hour; store operates 7 days a week and hours are 6:00am-10:00pm.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with customer service experience, able to obtain Food Safety Certification, and dedicated to maintaining cleanliness and a welcoming deli

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in deli or food service.
• Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification.
• Communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and assisting customers.
• Slicing deli meats, cheeses, and breads.
• Wrapping, weighing, and pricing deli items accurately.
• Stocking, rotating, and staging deli merchandise to ensure quality and freshness.
• Creating a welcoming and safe environment.
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the department.
