Job summary

Planned Companies is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Part Time Porter to support residential and commercial properties in Somerset, NJ. The role focuses on maintaining clean common areas and bathrooms to protect tenant health and safety.

You will be on-site, performing cleaning tasks from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a strong emphasis on reliability and teamwork. Training and PPE are provided to ensure quality service and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift 50 pounds or more.
• Experience with cleaning products and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.
• Stripping, buffing and waxing floors of various types.
• Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.
• Scrubbing and sanitizing bathroom toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.
• Emptying trash cans and washing/drying windows.
• Requesting cleaning supply orders, reporting breakages and needed repairs.
• Assisting management with projects and other duties as requested.
