reya is seeking a Part-Time Mobile Radiology Technician to join a dynamic team in Melrose Park, IL. The role involves traveling to facilities to perform mobile radiography, with 20–25 hours per week and shifts including Wednesdays and weekends.

Qualifications

• State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist and ARRT certification or equivalent.
• Expertise in radiographic procedures, imaging equipment operation, and radiation safety protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret imaging results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to reassure patients and collaborate with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Travel to locations requesting radiography.
• Transport and set up radiography equipment.
• Operate radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients, explain procedures, and address questions.
• Provide compassionate care and maintain professionalism to ease patient anxiety.
• Review imaging results for potential abnormalities and ensure diagnostic accuracy.
• Collaborate with radiologists and refer physicians for timely reporting.
