Job summary

REYA is seeking a Part-Time Mobile Ultrasound Technician to join our dynamic team. You will travel to client sites to perform high-quality ultrasound imaging and support diagnostic care for patients.

Work hours include Saturdays and Sundays 9am–5pm with mileage reimbursement, uniform stipend, and accumulating paid leave. This flexible role offers competitive pay and opportunities to make a difference in mobile diagnostics across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited program.
• 2 years of clinical sonography experience, including echoes and vascular studies.
• ARDMS certification or eligible to obtain within six months.
• Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and related software; accurate image interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and from locations requesting diagnostic ultrasounds.
• Transport and set up equipment for mobile studies.
• Perform ultrasound procedures following established protocols and safety standards.
• Prepare patients; ensure comfort and safety.
• Document patient information in the EHR system.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and provide preliminary findings.
• Maintain equipment and infection control.
• Stay current with industry advancements through training.
• Demonstrate patient-centered care in interactions.
