Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Northern Virginia seeks an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to deliver hospice and euthanasia care with compassion and balance.

As a mobile veterinary team member, you’ll visit families in Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax and Falls Church, providing thoughtful medical attention while enjoying flexible scheduling, ongoing mentorship, and strong team support.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check post-hire and before start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice and euthanasia care in clients' homes.
• Deliver compassionate veterinary care while practicing independently.
• Join a community of veterinarians with mentoring and support.
