Job summary

Lap of Love is seeking a Part-Time Mobile Veterinarian to serve with compassion across Richmond, Midlothian, Mechanicsville, and surrounding areas in Virginia. This position emphasizes mobile, in-home hospice and euthanasia care, allowing you to practice medicine with purpose while maintaining personal balance.

You will join a community of veterinarians and support staff, receive ongoing mentorship, and operate with flexible schedules (2–5 days/week) and guaranteed base compensation, plus bonus

Qualifications

DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in home settings.
Operate as a mobile veterinarian in Richmond, Midlothian, Mechanicsville, Chesterfield, Glen Allen, Henrico, Petersburg, VA and surrounding areas.
Collaborate with mentors and practice managers to deliver high-quality care while maintaining balance and independence.
