Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser to service Sterling, VA 20165 and the surrounding area. You will visit major retailers, set up displays, and ensure correct placement and maintenance of promotions.

Responsibilities include reporting with same-day digital surveys and photos for each store visit; the role offers weekly pay, a 401(k) with company match, travel reimbursement, and paid training. Must be able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and drive a personal vehicle.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
• Attention to detail and ability to follow complex display diagrams
• Independence and teamwork; able to work alone and with a small team when needed
• Tech-ready with Internet access, handheld tools, and Wi-Fi/GPS enabled device

Responsibilities

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory
• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
• Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Scheduling: Up to 25 hours per week, Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm; no weekends/evenings
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit
