Job summary

Allied Universal in Portland, OR is seeking a Security Officer - Part Time Mobile Patrol Driver for Swing Shift. You will perform unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and deliver friendly customer service to visitors, staff, and guests at cultural institutions and other sites.

This driving role requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to work a recurring evening schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Minimum 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, guests, staff, and volunteers at a cultural institution.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of galleries, public areas, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points, assist with directions, and report incidents to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow site procedures with emergency responders when needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs and shift documentation.
