Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferable.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by following site-specific security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally per reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures.
• Prepare reports and communicate observations to site contacts and leadership.
