Leidos is seeking an experienced Mission Logistician to join our Cyber & Analytics Business Area, Key Management & Analytics Division in a flexible, part-time role supporting critical national-security missions.

You’ll help ensure mission-essential systems and equipment are accounted for, prepared, transported, and delivered where they’re needed around the world. Working alongside system developers, integrators, technical teams, and mission partners, you’ll play an important role in moving capabilities from integration to operational use and you’ll do it with greater flexibility. Work with the program to create a part-time schedule that fits your availability while supporting mission needs. If you have government logistics experience and want to continue doing work that matters this is the career opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do

As a Mission Logistician, you’ll support the movement and accountability of government property and mission-critical systems throughout their lifecycle. The typical duties and responsibilities include;

  • Coordinate logistics and worldwide shipments supporting system integration, deployments, and system upgrades, working with system developers, integrators, and mission partners.
  • Manage inventory-control processes for property received, shipped, moved, transferred, or excessed.
  • Coordinate the storage and movement of inbound, interplant, and outbound materials, equipment, and finished goods.
  • Prepare equipment for shipment, including palletization, green-tagging, shrink-wrapping, and required shipping documentation in accordance with applicable agency requirements.
  • Prepare and process DD Form 1149 and documentation associated with Government Bills of Lading.
  • Track shipments worldwide and coordinate with destination sites to establish and confirm Arrival on Site (AOS).
  • Perform property-management and accountability functions in accordance with government guidance and industry best practices.
  • Maintain the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), including entries for incoming property, Line Item Receiving Reports, transfers, and excess property.
  • Complete required monthly inventory reports and maintain accurate, traceable property and shipping documentation.
  • Develop and improve processes for shipping, receiving, storage, material handling, inventory control, property transfer, and disposition.

Your experience will help identify and resolve logistics challenges before they affect delivery schedules or mission readiness.

What You’ll Bring

This role requires an experienced logistics professional with a strong understanding of government property accountability, inventory management, transportation and material handling.

Basic Qualifications

  • Ten (10) years of experience working as a Logistician.
  • Experience with government property-accounting processes, including associated forms and documentation.
  • Knowledge of automated inventory-control systems.
  • Professional experience with ordering, processing, shipping, receiving, packaging, material handling, property accountability, and disposition of excess property.
  • Practical experience processing Government Bill of Lading documentation and DD Form 1149.

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Program Requirement: This position requires ten (10) years of experience as a Logistician in accordance with the program's established labor-category requirements.

Why This Opportunity?

The equipment you’ll support isn’t simply inventory; it represents capabilities developed for critical national-security missions.

Within Leidos’ Cyber & Analytics Business Area, Key Management & Analytics Division, you’ll work alongside professionals supporting sophisticated national-security capabilities in areas including Security Engineering, Computer Network Operations (CNO), Mission Software, Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Cryptographic Key Management, and systems integration.
