Job summary

Edison Middle School in South Bend, Indiana is seeking a part-time MS Cheerleader Sponsor for the 2026-2027 season. The sponsor will work with the Athletic Director and school sponsors to support junior high cheer programs, foster school spirit, and provide positive role models for students.

Qualifications

• Experience in intermediate/high school cheerleading.
• Training in dance and/or familiarity with cheerleading techniques.
• Ability to work well with students, the school staff and patrons.
• Skills in leadership and organization.

Responsibilities

• To assist in providing challenging and enjoyable experiences for all team members.
• To contribute to the development and maintenance of school spirit within the school and a positive school image within the community.
• To contribute to the development of a positive self-image for the individual team members.
• To develop a high level of performance consistent with goals of the South Bend Community School Corporation.
