Broward College in sunny South Florida invites applications for a part-time teaching position in microbiology/biochemistry disciplines. The successful candidate will demonstrate mastery of the subject, engage students effectively, and maintain office hours with flexibility for evening or weekend duties.

The ideal applicant holds a Master’s Degree in Microbiology or Biochemistry (or related Biological Science) and may have 18 graduate credits; prior college teaching is preferred and strong

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Microbiology or Biochemistry or a Biological Science Subfield.
• OR Medical, Dental, or Medical Science OR Master’s Degree and 18 graduate credit hours in Microbiology or a Biological Science or Medical Science subfield.
• Prior college teaching experience is preferred.
• High level of computer literacy and commitment to teaching.
