Job Overview

The Merchandiser is responsible for presenting products attractively at retail locations, servicing multiple accounts by merchandising approved products following safety and quality guidelines, and communicating effectively with store management and cross-functional teams.

Schedule will vary. Morning shifts, afternoon into evening shifts, and weekends are required. Flexibility during weekdays is expected.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Fill, merchandise, and rotate products on displays and shelves according to procedures and programs
• Physically move products from backrooms to displays
• Create and distribute point of sale materials where permitted; rotate products; check vendor operations
• Organize and maintain back rooms, manage pallets, shells, and damaged or expired products
• Build and maintain business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-ups and proactive discussions

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Effective communication skills (listening, speaking, writing)
• Customer service experience preferred
• Interpersonal skills to satisfy diverse customer needs
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs. repeatedly)
• Reliability and independence with minimal supervision
• Critical thinking skills
• Company-provided cell phone

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid in-state driver’s license
• Excellent driving record
• Proof of insurance meeting specific coverage requirements from first day of employment
