Job Overview

The Merchandiser is responsible for presenting products attractively at retail locations, servicing multiple accounts by merchandising approved products, following safety and quality guidelines, and communicating effectively with store management.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Filling, merchandising, and rotating products on display and shelves
• Transporting products from backroom to display areas
• Creating and distributing point of sale materials where permitted
• Organizing back room stock and managing product flow
• Building relationships with store personnel and discussing upcoming activities

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Effective communication skills (listening, speaking, writing)
• Customer service experience preferred
• Interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse customers
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting up to 50 lbs.)
• Reliable and independent work habits
• Critical thinking skills
• Company-provided cell phone

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Good driving history
• Proof of insurance coverage meeting specified limits

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent driving history
