Part-Time Merchandiser - Sarasota (Finance)
Coke Florida is looking for a Part-Time Merchandiser to work in the Sarasota area and surrounding markets. This role offers flexible scheduling, including weekends if needed.What You Will Do:
As a Coke Florida Merchandiser, you will be responsible for replenishing and merchandising products at designated accounts. You will serve as the primary Coke Florida representative in customer accounts, ensuring continuous stock of Coke Florida products to meet consumer needs. Maintaining customer relationships across all sales channels is essential.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain product displays and equipment placements according to company standards.
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels in beverage sections and throughout accounts, including shelf allocation and cold equipment.
- Manage back stock inventory and trade breakage.
- Meet customer service expectations through daily communication and problem resolution.
- Maintain professional relationships with co-workers, customers, and shoppers.
- Ensure proper inventory levels, assets, and point of sale materials, and keep products facing and stocked properly.
- Conduct store surveys and communicate account activities and equipment needs.
- Rotate products regularly and organize backroom inventory efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment, shelves, and sales floors.
- Transport and replace point of sale advertising as needed.
- Maintain punctual attendance and work overtime as required.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and laws, including safety and dress code standards.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must be 18 years or older and eligible to work in the U.S.
- Personal vehicle for work use, with valid driver’s license and current liability insurance.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Ability to operate manual or powered pallet jacks and lift products, with certification if required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past three years.
Additional Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or 1-2 years of college/university education.
- 1+ year sales or merchandising experience.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to use mobile applications and work independently.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift, carry, and position objects up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds, including equipment over distances.
- Manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills.
- Work physically over sustained periods, standing up to 10 hours and walking at least 4 hours daily.
- Work in hot/humid environments and use audio headsets for directions.
