About the Role

As a Merchandiser you work independently across retail locations, showcasing organization, time‑management, and inventory management skills to display and maintain celebratory products such as greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush and more.

Pay

• Starting pay $11.70 per hour with two increases during the first year (rates may vary by location).
• After 6 months: $12.40 per hour.
• After 1 year: $13.00 per hour.
• Flexible work scheduling.

Route & Schedule

The route will service the following retail locations: 364 Hwy 70 W, Marion, NC 28752; 1610 N Main St; 746 E Court St; 4339 US 221 S; 9180 Sugar Hill Rd; 2149 US 70 W; 8881 US 221 N; 195 Nebo School Rd, Nebo, NC; 501 Main St, Old Fort, NC; 9089 NC Hwy 226 S, Nebo, NC; 792 Bat Cave Rd, Old Fort, NC; 4470 US 70 E, Nebo, NC.

Weekly average hours are 4 hours per week, potentially increasing to 10 hours around holidays.

Primary Responsibilities

• Service stores on your route, including merchandising, organizing product orders, displaying items in greeting card departments and other retail locations, maintaining organized backroom areas, and performing inventory tasks.
• Communicate with management about service and schedule concerns.
• Work efficiently in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Partner with store associates and management during business hours.
• Be available for additional workdays and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets, including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as requested.
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company‑issued tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Experience Required

No experience necessary; training will be provided.

• Reliable transportation for multiple retail locations.
• Reliable internet connection for access to job information and updates.
• Technological competency: able to learn and use a company‑provided tablet.
• Flexible schedule: availability for occasional weekends and days before/after major holidays.

Physical Demands

Work on sales floor and back stock room, lifting, pulling, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and fixtures up to 40 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and squat throughout the day; use of a stepstool may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for disabilities.
