As a Merchandiser with American Greetings, you play a vital role in our mission to help people celebrate holidays, each other, and life's special moments by making the world a more thoughtful and caring place every day. We are seeking merchandisers to work independently across various retail locations, demonstrating strong organization and time management skills to display and maintain inventory of our celebration products, including greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush toys, and more.

Pay:

• The starting pay is $13.50 per hour, with two increases during the first year of employment (rates may vary by location).
• After 6 months, the pay increases to $14.30.
• After 1 year, the pay increases to $15.00.
• We offer flexible scheduling and paid training.
• 401(k) plan with company match.

Route and Schedule:

This route services the following locations at 2232 Gallatin Pike N, Madison, TN, 37115; 200 Gallatin Pike S; and 808 Madison Sq S/C.

The average weekly hours are approximately 7, with potential increases to around 16 hours during holidays.

Ideal Candidate: Available during daytime hours, especially Monday mornings, to meet store needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Service stores on your route, including merchandising, organizing, displaying products, maintaining backroom areas, and inventory tasks.
• Communicate any questions or concerns to management.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Build relationships with store staff during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets, fixture work, product assembly, or relocations as needed.
• Plan and review your weekly schedule using a company-issued tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Experience Required: No experience necessary; training provided.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 or older.
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodations.
• Reliable transportation for multiple locations.
• Reliable internet access for job updates.
• Technologically capable of using a company tablet.
• Flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
