American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple local retail locations around Tuscaloosa, AL. You will display and maintain inventory of greeting cards, gift wrap, party goods, and more in store departments, using a company tablet. The role emphasizes organization, time management, and independent work on assigned routes.

No prior experience is required as training is provided. The starting pay is $11.70 per hour with increases to $12.40 after 6 months and $13.00 after

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation as routes have multiple locations.
• Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates.
• Able to learn and use company-provided tablet for training and daily tasks.
• Willingness to work weekends and around major holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders; display product in greeting card departments and other locations; maintain organized backroom areas and perform inventory tasks.
• Communicate any questions or concerns with management regarding service or schedules.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Build relationships with retail store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours before/after major holidays.
• Assist with store resets including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as requested.
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload in stores using a company tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
