Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a Part-Time Merchandiser to service multiple retail routes in the Indianapolis area. The role involves merchandising, stocking, and organizing product within greeting card departments, with backroom upkeep and inventory tasks.

Average weekly hours start around 7 and may increase to about 16 during holidays. Training is provided, and a 401(k) with company match is offered as part of benefits.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English is required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation as most routes have multiple retail locations
• Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates
• Technological competency—able to use company-provided tablet for training and daily activity/tasks
• Meet scheduling needs - weekends and major holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organising product orders.
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations; maintain backroom and inventory.
• Communicate with management any questions or scheduling concerns.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time-management and organisational skills.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime retail hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets, fixture work, product assembly, relocation or removal as requested.
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload in assigned stores using a company tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
