Job summary

Jacent is the leading cross-merchandising impulse product company in North America, with 17,000 stores and 2,500+ merchandising employees. We seek a Merchandiser to join our team in the Houston area; you will place products, create displays, and collaborate with store personnel to drive in-store success.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys working independently and in a team, comfortable with changing environments, and able to meet physical requirements.

Qualifications

• A self-starter and quick learner who enjoys working both independently and in a team setting.
• Someone who is comfortable in changing environments.
• Able to meet the physical requirements (standing/walking 3-8hrs, lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Possesses excellent organizational skills.
• A strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with business partners.
• Resides within 20 miles of Houston TX 77068.

Responsibilities

• Cultivating relationships with in-store management.
• Executing merchandising resets.
• Building retail displays.
• Merchandising impulse items on clip strips & J-hooks.
• Implementing plan-o-grams.
