Description

Our Garden Group, providing sales support and logistics for proprietary and recognized consumer brands, is seeking a part-time Merchandiser in Richland, WA. Responsibilities include stocking and arranging product displays such as grass seed, chemicals, and clay pottery in home improvement centers like Lowe's, Home Depot, and Walmart.

Measures of Success

• Down stocking and maintaining set integrity for Central Garden products
• Set and maintain shelves according to retailer planograms
• Install and maintain off-shelf display opportunities
• Weekend consumer interaction during peak season (training provided)

Ideal Candidate Attributes

• Previous merchandising experience preferred
• Strong communication skills for interacting with store management and consumers
• Ability to read labels and re-tag products
• Ability to lift and bend with 50 lbs. throughout the day
• Experience with ladders, pallet jacks, and hand tools
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, proof of insurance
• Access to internet/email and a smartphone with required OS versions
• Responsible, reliable, and alert work habits

Working Conditions

• Retail store environment, including garden centers
• Work Monday-Friday, some weekends (primarily Saturday)
• Physical ability to lift, bend, climb ladders, and use tools
• Daily travel throughout the territory using personal vehicle
• Remote work possible
