Job summary

Footprint Retail Services invites an energetic Merchandiser to service retail locations in the Parkersburg, WV area. You will maintain product displays, update planograms, and perform audits while operating mostly independently with a mobile reporting workflow.

The role offers flexible local hours (5–10 hours weekly in some markets), travel within the territory, and paid mileage. Training is provided and no prior experience is required.

What You'll Do

As a Merchandiser, you will independently service retail locations within your assigned area to ensure products and displays meet client standards.

Responsibilities may include:

• Stocking shelves and organizing merchandise
• Updating planograms and product displays
• Completing audits, surveys, and reporting
• Assisting with store refreshes and resets
• Applying security tags and labels
• Taking photos and submitting reports through a mobile app
• Building professional relationships with store associates and management
• Communicating directly with your District Manager while working independently in stores

Qualifications :

Must be at least 18 years old

Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the assigned territory

Strong communication and interpersonal skills including text and/or email

Ability to work in an independent and efficient manner while providing accurate and timely reporting via a mobile device

Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented

Able to effectively communicate with store personnel

Ability to understand, interpret, and carry out written instructions.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to move throughout assigned work areas to complete merchandising tasks

Ability to consistently access product on shelving from ground to 5 feet high; occasionally up to 6 feet high

Ability to accurately inspect merchandise, displays, and product placement.

Ability to consistently lift up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
