As a Merchandiser with American Greetings, you play a vital role in our company's mission: helping people celebrate holidays, each other, and all of life's special moments by making the world a more thoughtful and caring place every day. We are seeking merchandisers to work independently across various retail locations, demonstrating strong organization and time management skills to display and maintain inventory of our celebration products, including greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush, and more.

Pay

• The starting pay is $11.70 per hour, with two increases during the first year of employment (rates may vary by location).
• Pay increases to $12.40 after 6 months.
• Pay increases to $13.00 after 1 year of employment.
• Flexible work scheduling available.

Route and Schedule

This route services the following locations: 1204 Sunburst Dr, Goldsboro, NC; 3147 Promise Land Rd, La Grange, NC; 301 E Washington St, La Grange, NC; 407 E Washington St, La Grange, NC; and 2207 Pineview Cemetery Rd, Seven Springs, NC.

The average weekly hours are 6, with potential increases to 16 hours during holidays.

Primary Responsibilities

• Service assigned stores by merchandising and organizing product orders, displaying products within greeting card departments, maintaining organized backroom areas, and managing inventory tasks.
• Communicate with management regarding service or schedule concerns.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment, utilizing effective time management and organizational skills.
• Build relationships with retail store associates and management during business hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets, including fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as needed.
• Plan and review weekly service schedules using a company-issued tablet.
• Work independently and collaboratively with a team.
