Job summary

Rasmussen University is seeking a Part-Time Adjunct Nursing Instructor for the Mental and Behavioral Health Nursing track at our Mankato campus. You will teach lectures, labs, and clinical practicum, on campus or at clinical partner sites, while continuing your work in the field.

No prior teaching experience is required as training is provided, and you will contribute to student engagement and learning using modern classroom tools for synchronous sessions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN licensure unencumbered required.
• 1-year clinical RN experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Documented experience in Mental Health roles.

Responsibilities

• Teach lecture, laboratory, and clinical practicum courses in the Nursing program as assigned (on campus or off-site).
• Use effective teaching strategies and diverse methods to foster learning for a diverse student population.
• Create high levels of student engagement through activities and synchronous sessions.
