The Sales Associate role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a neat, safe store environment. It requires flexibility for part-time shifts, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for growth within the brand.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate Customer First selling standards to deliver a positive customer experience and reach daily sales goals.
• Promote AE brand loyalty by informing customers about loyalty programs.
• Use company tools to provide product knowledge and boost engagement.
• Support colleagues by sharing knowledge and aiding in customer interactions.
• Outfit customers by suggesting looks and incorporating trends and promotions.
• Introduce customers to additional brand channels for awareness and growth.
• Process register sales transactions quickly and accurately per cash control procedures.
• Restock returned merch to correct locations and manage damaged items.
• Maintain clean, organized sales floor, cash wrap, fitting room and stockroom for safety and presentation.
• Handle merchandise from shipment processing to replenishment per SOP.
• Resolve customer concerns in line with policy and escalate with leadership when needed.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
